Location
The retreat will be held at Blue Spirit, one of the foremost world-class yoga and meditation retreat centers in Costa Rica. Located in Nosara, the center is perched on a hilltop overlooking the Pacific Ocean and a three-mile white sand beach that is protected as a turtle refuge. The pristine nature, subtropical climate, dedicated staff, and the healing energy of the center provides an extraordinary setting for spiritual transformation, personal growth, and environmental sustainability.

Alex Holiday is a lifelong student of nature, movement and transformational practices. Alex has logged over a thousand hours of yoga teaching where she is passionate about creating accessible classes for everyone and every body. Her teaching is rooted in the principles that if you change your energy you change your mind. Alex’s meets students where they are at, reminding them to drop judgment while approaching practice with love and humor. Her knowledge is rooted in the teachings of Tantra, Ayurveda, and Earth Wisdom. She is an ayurvedic health coach, yoga teacher, sanctioned ceremonial guide, wife of an adorable husband, cooker of delicious things and expert joy maker.
Paula DancingEagle Coyne has been on a pathway of integrating and sharing transformational practices all her life. Passionate about healing, growth and the embodied spiritual experience, she has trained to bring together potent methods of healing and transformation from various traditions. She is a Clinical Psychologist, Reiki Master, Certified Yoga and mindfulness meditation teacher. She has trained over 20 years with her Earth Wisdom teachers in a Medicine tradition and is a sanctioned teacher and ceremonial guide. Expansion through consciousness practices in the joyful Dance of Life is her calling!
Alex and Paula have co-created joyful ceremony for over 15 years and are excited about coming together to share what they have gathered with their Blue Spirit retreat participants!
Investment & Accommodation Choices
$2820 per person single occupancy / $2320 per person double occupancy Nature suites are cozy and located on a hillside overlooking the lush vegetation. They are simple and natural structures and have private bathrooms with an outdoor shower overlooking the jungle. Each suite have either 1 king bed or 2 twin beds and can sleep 2 people. Each suite also has a separate, enclosed, porch with a desk. The suites are a short walk up the hill to the main building.
$2445 per person single occupancy/ $2200 per person double occupancy for couples These rooms are specifically designed for singles and provide privacy and elegance, while being cozy and inexpensive. Many of these rooms have partial views of the ocean and others of the mountains nearby, a queen-sized bed, a private bathroom with solar hot water and a air conditioning. Hermitage Rooms have a safety box large enough to fit a 17″ laptop computer.
Refunds and Cancelations
IN THE EVENT THAT WE HAVE TO CANCEL THE RETREAT DUE TO COVID-19 TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS OR CONCERNS
If this happens (and we are holding space for only the highest and greatest good to unfold for the world) but if it happens, we will refund you 100% of every penny you have paid to us - or - you help us determine a convenient date to reschedule, and if you wish, your deposit will be applied. Due to the small size of the group we feel sure we will be able to find a suitable date for all attendees. For "Dancing Awake your True Nature" retreat at Blue Spirit, Costa Rica our refund and cancellation policy is as follows.
IN THE EVENT THAT YOU NEED TO CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION WITH US:
Through September 6, 2021
If you cancel your reservation prior to September 6, 2021, we will refund 100% of your deposit and any monies paid, no questions asked. However, if you prefer, you may also apply your deposit and monies paid to a future retreat of your choosing.
Before September 6, 2021
If cancellation is due to Covid-19 related travel restrictions, you will receive 100% of your deposit and all monies paid. You also have the option to apply 100% of your deposit and all other monies paid to any future retreat without incurring a fee.
If cancellation is not due to Covid-19 restrictions, then your deposit becomes non-refundable after September 6, 2021. However, you will be refunded any additional monies paid - and you will also have the option to apply your deposit to a future retreat of your choice. We recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip.
After September 6, 2021
If cancellation is due to a non-covid related cause, then all monies paid are non-refundable, but can be applied to any future retreat. If you choose to opt in for the Payment Protection Plan, then all monies, including deposit, are 100% refundable for any and all reasons as outlined in the Payment Protection Plan.
Please note: If travel is suspended due to Covid-19 at any time before or after September 6, 2021 - and we have to reschedule the retreat, or if you are quarantined due to having the Covid-19 virus and are advised by a Doctor not to travel, or are unable to travel due to Covid-19 related restrictions, then you will receive a full refund of all monies paid - or they can be applied to a future retreat.
Our Covid -19 Care Protocols
We strongly resonate with Blue Spirit’s values and the protocols that reflect them. You can see them listed on their website. We all acknowledge that appropriate covid-related responses will vary one way or another by the time we are gathering for our Retreat, and we will be adjusting our protocols accordingly. We will stay in touch with you to let you know what to expect. Please feel free to bring your questions or concerns to us so that we may respond to you with the fullest respect and consideration.
We know that vaccine availability is not under our personal control, and our prayer is that availability will continue to grow so that our entire population will be vaccinated by November 2021. We are moving into a time, into a consciousness, of prioritizing the collective well-being. If Covid-19 has taught us anything, it is that we are all truly interconnected. What one does, affects everyone. In that spirit, we ask that all participants get their vaccines prior to the Retreat. Our intention is that we will travel responsibly; that our Retreat will be of benefit to each of us as individuals and also to the people whose country we will be visiting.
Our cancellation policy reflects our commitment to your safety, to the safety of everyone in our sphere while we travel, and everyone near us while we enjoy beautiful Costa Rica. Let’s all visualize that we’ll keep moving in the direction of greater wellness! And if we have to shift, we will, in order to keep everyone safe and to be conscious, ethical travelers.
